What’s to know, really. I play WoW on a permanent basis, and in between raiding throughout Azeroth, enjoy having a look at what else is available. I’ve played my fair share of Warhammer, some Lord of the Rings Online, some EVE Online and have experimented with whatever I can get my hands on. I tend to be an angry old jackass from time to time which tends to reflect in my blogging, and I’m a student of human nature, which translates well to MMO’s where I get ample opportunity to shout at people and theorize about the inestimable capacity of the human race to accomplish both great things and yet be complete retards.

Instead of editing my about page, I figure I’ll comment about how things change. A timeline, if you will.
Firstly, I don’t play WoW anymore. At all. Subscription cancelled. The guild(s) I was in? Still going strong, but like all WoW guilds, rife with the same problems. the WAR guild I’m currently in is a little small and inactive, but I’ve been ‘promoted’ to class officer (I use scare quotes because in mmo’s being an officer is like being slapped with the job no-one wants to do) and, surprisingly, I’m seeing activity pick up. A lot of new alts and lowbies hanging around. Hoping the new year sees a resurgence in WAR and my guild return to farming some PVE and forming a dedicated RVR guerilla-team.
When I’m not online in Warhammer, I’m probably goofing off on my Xbox – my new favourite toy – or ‘working’ as a ‘programmer’ (HA HA SCARE QUOTES).
Oh and if anyone wonders why my handle here is ‘khayne’ while my actual nick is now Skurm, it’s because I originally registered a blog ages ago using this old handle, and i really can’t be assed to change it.
I assume there has been some more changes since according to your armory page your back up and running in the world of azeroth 😛
Hmm. Yeeeess. Looking at that post, dated December 30 2008, almost a year ago, I have to concede that time truly is a capable of healing all wounds. 😉
Yes, I’m back playing WoW, have been for a while, and with all the new content available, and the future looking rosy with Cataclysm, I don’t see that changing any time soon.
But as we’ve seen, anything can certainly happen. Who knows what tomorrow may bring…
